You’ve decided that you’re ready to move forward with buying a new home theater, automation or surveillance system. What do you do next?
You are Building a New Home or Addition:
Make an appointment to visit our showroom where we will go over all of your options. Bring your plans, a list of current equipment you would like to incorporate and some of your favorite music to audition speakers. Plan on spending 1 to 2 hours during this initial consultation. This may include the in-store portion of our process, depending on your needs and goals. New construction home theaters offer the most options – sometimes to an overwhelming degree. We will point you in the right direction. You may even discover technologies that you would like to consider.
You are Creating a Complete System for your Existing Home.
Most clients prefer to begin in the showroom. Here you can evaluate what Intelligent Electronics offers in products, knowledge, experience and resources to determine if we are a good fit for your project. We suggest you call before your visit to give the system designers an overview of your requirements and to schedule an in-store appointment. The designer will give you a list of information to bring to your meeting.
Upgrading a Component in your Current System
Call or stop by the showroom. If you plan a visit, bring a movie or music that is familiar to aid in the audition process. It will help you compare various levels of quality and personal preferences. Write down the brand and model numbers for all the equipment in your system including what you are replacing. Measure any space limitations like cabinetry or windows. Feel free to bring the old component with you (if possible) or its manual if it’s still available.
You Know What You Want, You Just Want a Quote
Stop by the Showroom, call or send us your shopping list via email. Let us know if you are interested in other options, a second opinion on the design or just the numbers.
You Have No Idea What You Need
Something stopped working…It’s old…the company who installed it is gone…or other various on-site issues: call us and get on the schedule. We charge a $150 Diagnostic Fee. We will either fix your problem or let you know what the problem is and propose a solution.
DIY – You Want to Tackle the Project Yourself
Whether you are a hobbyist or just technically inclined or trying to maximize a limited budget, we can help you achieve your goals. Components purchased from Intelligent Electronics get phone support, warranty claim assistance and upgrade options. Complete systems still qualify for package pricing. Installation services are always available if you get in over your head.
